Frequently Asked Questions

Can you remodel while we stay open?

Yes — most of our remodels are in occupied space. We phase work into nights and weekends, install dust and noise barriers, and sequence trades so your staff and customers keep using the space.

Do you handle ground-up construction?

No. We focus exclusively on interior commercial remodeling, fit-outs and tenant improvements, which is why we can move faster and price more accurately than a generalist GC.

How long does a commercial remodel take?

A cosmetic refresh under 5,000 sq ft typically runs 4–8 weeks. Larger remodels with MEP and permitting generally run 10–20 weeks. We commit to a date and hit it.

Where do you work?

New York City and Connecticut, Dallas–Fort Worth, and South Florida from Palm Beach to the Keys.

How is pricing structured?

Transparent pricing up front against a defined scope. Changes only happen if you request them — never as a mid-project surprise.

Remodeling Around A Business That Stays Open

Most commercial remodels happen in occupied space, which makes phasing the real skill. We build temporary partitions and dust barriers, run noisy demolition and core drilling after hours, keep exits and ADA paths open through every phase, and coordinate elevator and loading dock access with building management. Your customers, tenants and staff keep using the space while we rebuild it section by section, and we publish a weekly look-ahead so nobody in your organization is surprised by what happens next.

What Drives A Commercial Remodel Budget

Cosmetic remodels — paint, flooring, lighting, millwork refresh — are predictable. Costs climb when partitions move, because relocated walls pull in sprinkler heads, ceiling grid, HVAC diffusers, electrical circuits and life-safety devices, all of which trigger plan review. We identify those triggers during scoping and price them up front rather than discovering them mid-build, which is where surprise change orders on remodels almost always come from.

Remodeling For Brand Refreshes And Lease Renewals

A large share of our remodel work is rollout-driven: a brand updates its standards and every location has to match, often on a fixed schedule and a fixed budget per site. We build to brand books, keep finishes consistent across markets, and repeat the same crew and sequence from store to store so location twelve goes in faster than location one.
