Restaurant Construction Overview

Restaurant construction is the most permit-heavy work in commercial interiors. Hood and fire-suppression approvals, grease interceptors, gas service, ventilation make-up air, health department plan review and ADA restrooms all sit on the critical path — and any one of them can hold your opening for weeks if it isn't filed early.

We build the full package: demolition, kitchen and dish areas with quarry tile and FRP, exhaust hoods and make-up air, walk-in coolers, bar millwork with beverage systems and under-bar plumbing, dining room finishes and banquettes, host and POS stations, restrooms, storefront and outdoor dining.

Our restaurant teams work with independent chef-owners, hospitality groups and franchise operators, and we coordinate directly with kitchen equipment suppliers so rough-ins match the equipment schedule before slabs and walls close.

Restaurant Construction FAQs

How long does a restaurant build-out take?

Most 2,000–4,000 SF restaurants run 12–20 weeks from permit, with hood, gas service and health department review driving the critical path.

Do you file for health department and fire approvals?

Yes — hood, suppression, grease interceptor and health filings are handled inside our scope.

Can you work with our kitchen equipment vendor?

We coordinate rough-ins directly against the equipment schedule so utilities land where the equipment actually needs them.
